Two movies on peak oil.

"A crude Awakening" and " Then end of suburbia"

A crude Awakening is a multi award wining film made in 2006 which was very professionally made.
It was very dramatic, alot like an inconvenient truth.

The end of suburbia was made in 2004 and looked alot lower budget. Never the less it was just fine. It kinda reminded me of a conspiracy movie, rather than a hollywood movie. Any who ... Experts included were Matt Simons, many others from ASPO and Mike Ruppert. This one was alot more blunt than the other one. And really talked about the end of the american way of life.
It also talk about the US need to control overseas oil supplies.

So both were good. Both had many of the same characters.  And I recommend watching both... i got then both from the public library.
I would also recommend you doing something about this. There is alot the individul can do for him/her self.  The decline of oil is inevitable and the globe as a whole WILL NOT be prepared  so your better prepare yourself.

thinkfree.ca

Thinkfree.ca is canadian web site which I have recently discovered. It is the work of Rob Menard.
I have just started to look into it, and so far its been absolutely incredible. Rob talk about how to free ourselves from the government not by cheating the system but by using our rights.
I just finished a video with Rob explaining how anyone who is of Canadian citizenship, does not need to pay for there education, and just by being Canadian we have to ability to access large sums of money most of don't know is there.
There is a lot more to it than I can explain. Please check out some of his Videos linked from his website.

I'v just finished reading  "Robs very cunning plan". And I must say it shares lots with the concept of the Venus Project.

Michael C Ruppert

Check out this letter to Obama written by Michael C. Ruppert ... on his blog.

I also recommend reading his book " Crossing the Rubicon"
It goes into peak oil, and motives for the 9/11 attacks, along with the history of the CIA and drug trafficking .

Gaza

So, we have all heard about the Israel attacks on Gaza.
Now, at day 17, the death toll approaches 900, with over 4000 others injured. Almost a 1/3rd of the dead are children.  The Israel death toll........ 11....    and i'v heard a couple of those were friendly fire incidents. What do you expect....  rocket launchers vs. the 2nd largest fleet of F-16's in the world. Second of  course to its supplier of weapons, the grand old U.S.
The U.S give about 3 billion $ in direct aid each year to Israel. That like 500$ per person.
I am most defiantly picking sides with the Palestinians, not justifying the attacks from Hamas, but it's completely understandable. They are an occupied nation. And you can't defend yourself  from inside the nation you are occupying. Thats like holding up a corner store, and defending shooting the owner by saying " he had a baseball bat."

There is one nation's leader who I would like to congratulate. Hugo Chavez has expelled the Israeli ambassador from Venezuela.

2009 What's up

Wow 2009 already! I believe this should be very exciting year. The economic crisis, the many many conflicts brewing around the globe, and of course... OBAMA.
I don't expect Obama to do anything effective to help the economy. I don't feel Obama is going to change much at all .... I could be wrong. But looking at his team, I see the same old faces.....same old.
One theme that continually pops up with all the issues, such as the economic crisis, that  we encounter, is: treating the symptoms  rather than the cause ... think about it.  Really ... think about it.
And as long as we continue to chuck money at this economic problem, it's only going to get worse. I heard some talking about unemployment  reaching 25 % in the US, and gold at 2000$ by the end of the year.  I believe it.

Thinking of treating the symptoms rather than the cause reminds me of this awesome video which parodies the god awful health care system with have here in western society.

Enjoy:
